The trip is demanding. You must have experience in skiing off-piste and ski touring. Avalanche package is mandatory on all ski trips with Svalbard Wildlife Expeditions*
Price includes:
- Transport round trip accommodation
- Snowmobile with gasoline and snowmobile equipment

Recommended to bring:
- Ski boots*
- Ski equipment (ski, poles, skins og helmet)*
- Avalanche equipment (Probe, shovel og beacon)*
- Warm clothing
- Cold drink (preferably in a thermos as liquid can freeze to ice)
- Camera
- Daypack

Description
Join us on snowmobile into Svalbard most amazing ski touring areas.
The combination of snowmobile and ski touring is one of the most incredible thing you can do. And there is few places in the world where it is most accessible.
After picking you up at your accommodation the guide will give you a briefing about the activity of the day and checking the equipment.
The snowmobile tour starts in the center of Longyearbyen and, with a circumference of 1-2 hours, there are plenty of opportunities for descents. At the foot of the mountain, we change into ski equipment and enjoy a trip in the overwhelming arctic tour. There is a high probability that you will not meet anyone else and that you will have the descent all to yourself
During the days we will have a lunch break with a warm meal in the silence of the arctic nature.
This is an exclusive tour for small groups.
The trips last the whole day and we eat lunch in the mountains along the way.
We recommend that you bring your own ski that at set to you - otherwise you can rent ski equipment and avalanche equipment from us.
We require some experince with ski touring. Degree of difficulty and lenght of the trip will be set up according to the group.
