Experience Svalbard's fjords aboard the hybrid-electric catamaran MS Bard. This quiet vessel takes you through breathtaking landscapes to Billefjorden and Nordenskiöldbreen, passing the abandoned mining town of Pyramiden and the historic Skansbukta.

The tour begins with a bus transfer from Longyearbyen to the harbor. MS Bard is specially designed to minimize noise and disturbances to nature. Early in the season, parts of Billefjorden may be covered in ice, and the boat will silently navigate along the ice edge—an ideal spot to look for seals and other Arctic wildlife.

Enjoy the views from the panoramic windows or step out on deck. We recommend dressing warmly and taking in the scenery outdoors. Onboard, a delicious vegetarian lentil soup is served, and the café offers hot drinks and snacks.
