Dreaming of experiencing Arctic silence? Join an electric snowmobile tour into Adventdalen. With no engine noise, the only sounds you hear are the snowmobile gliding over the snow – and nature itself.

The adventure begins when your guide picks you up from your accommodation. Before setting off, you’ll receive a short briefing and be provided with a warm snowmobile suit, boots, balaclava, helmet, and mittens. Never driven a snowmobile before? No problem! The guide will give you thorough instructions before you head out.

Following the trail into Adventdalen, you’ll ride through flat and easy terrain. It doesn’t take many kilometers before you feel like you’re deep in the wilderness. Along the way, you might spot Svalbard reindeer, ptarmigans, Arctic foxes, or snow buntings. There will be stops to enjoy the silence, take photos, and hear fascinating stories from the guide about Svalbard and the surrounding area.

At some point during the trip, you’ll pause for a warm drink and biscuits before returning to Longyearbyen. Covering around 30 km, this tour is ideal for those who want to try snowmobiling without committing to a full-day adventure. A simple yet incredible way to experience Svalbard’s stunning nature.

• A valid driver’s license for a car or motorcycle is required to drive. Remember to bring it on the tour.
